Is Sondaggio HIPAA compliant?
Sondaggio does not store or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI). Survey responses are linked to anonymous session tokens, not patient names, DOBs, or medical record numbers. We do not integrate with EHR records by default. For Enterprise customers who need formal HIPAA coverage, we offer a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). If you're unsure whether your use case triggers HIPAA requirements, consult your compliance officer — we're happy to share our data architecture documentation.
What does SMS cost on top of the subscription?
SMS delivery is included in your plan. Starter includes up to 500 survey deliveries per month. Growth and Enterprise plans include unlimited SMS within normal usage thresholds. We don't mark up carrier costs — you're not buying a separate carrier account. If you're a very high‑volume practice (10,000+ surveys/month), talk to us about Custom pricing.
How long does setup take?
Most practices are live within one business day. You provision a dedicated SMS number through the Sondaggio dashboard (guided, ~5 minutes), choose or customize a survey template (~10 minutes), and print or order your code cards. Growth and Enterprise plans include onboarding calls if you want a walkthrough with your team.
We already use Birdeye / Podium / Google Reviews. Why do we need this?
Those tools are designed to generate public reviews. Sondaggio is designed to give you private, structured feedback before it becomes a public review. They're complementary, not competing. Many of our customers use Sondaggio for internal satisfaction tracking and use their existing reputation tool to channel happy patients toward Google or Yelp. You can't build that workflow if you don't know who the happy patients are.
What if a patient doesn't want to text a code?
No problem. The code‑based SMS workflow is the default because it gets the highest completion rates, but nothing is mandatory. Patients can skip entirely — there's no pressure built into the flow. Some practices also display a QR code on a table tent as an alternate entry point (the QR goes to the same survey URL). Both paths generate the same structured data in your dashboard.
Are there long‑term contracts?
No. All plans are month‑to‑month. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings. If you want an annual prepay discount, we offer 15% off annual billing on all tiers. There are no cancellation fees, no data hostage situations — you can export all your survey data at any time in CSV or JSON.
